Just imagine...

a simple church where...

  • you are accepted and belong
  • you are not alone in life’s challenges
  • you worship and study His Word in a family room
  • you recapture your first love for Jesus
  • your closest friends gather, grow and reach out together
  • your community shares meals and prays for one another by name
  • everyone mentors someone else in the things of God
  • worship is intimate and passionate
  • faith is an adventure
  • creative ideas flow
  • failures aren’t fatal
  • love and forgiveness are real
  • ministry isn’t limited to 4 walls
  • members are not “going to church” but are the “churchgoing”

Can you also imagine...
a simple church that...

  • is comprised of small fellowships of the heart that meet weekly house to house to share life
  • has festivals of faith every quarter where everyone gathers for a weekend of public worship, celebrations, equipping and fellowship
  • grows as new believers join a family of nurturing spiritual moms and dads, brothers and sisters
  • seeks to touch the un-churched where they live, work and play
  • goes beyond just “sitting and soaking” teaching” every week (except in a hot tub now and then!)
  • equips all ages to be ministers, not spectators
  • helps families grow and serve together
  • refuses to become a “cruise ship” created for selfish indulgence, comfort and spiritual gluttony
  • is like a fleet of connected life boats that venture out to sea to offer life-preservers to the drowning
  • takes the worship service out…to sing to the elderly who are lonely in nursing homes or to cheer up and pray for children suffering in hospital beds, or to befriend new people while enjoying time at a park or museum
  • tries to live out Jesus’ command to “visit him in prison, feed and clothe Him” wherever suffering strikes people around them
  • trains traveling teams for local and international missions
  • simplifies their budget by meeting in homes
  • funnels funds to support their “base” plus has more for outreaches to people worldwide
  • looks beyond itself and finds joy in making sacrifices for others

If you can imagine that...
If you yearn for that...
Then we invite you to come on over to our house
and share the life we've found in Jesus.
